A number of folks have ‘misread’ those of us who are drawing comparisons between India and Israel in the recent escalation with Pakistan. No one is saying that Pakistan is like Palestine. This would be an absurd assessment to make. However, what people (including myself) are pointing to: is the fact that like Israel, India has regional, expansionist ambitions (Eretz Israel / Akhand Bharat). Israel’s project is not just limited to Palestine, it is expanding into Syria and has eyes on Lebanon, and others.
