Fashola exact words

Yes we are here to solve problems. Problems are headline news for u but I think d balance is also to show that not all of d road is bad. Because d focus is on d bad part but u owe Nigerians whose taxes we use...
~Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Works & Housing to also show them that some work is going on bcos it's not all of Nigeria's roads that are unmotorable. On d Benin-Warri road for example, many sections of it are motorable. It's a part that has caved in & collapsed and that is where d pain is.And that is what we will respond to.

Making the crooked past straight

So, d Nigerian government through NNPC in 1993 signed offshore Production Sharing Contract (PSCs) with 6 oil companies. The contract stipulates that under d JV, profit sharing formula will be reviewed once prices of oil rise above $20 per barrel. Since 1998, the prices of oil has gone far above the $20. It even reached $120 or more at some point in between 2013-2014. Some people ran this country from 1998. They knew the country should get more money but chose to look the other way, apparently, in cahoots with the IOCs.

The Parasite Called Benin Republic

On many occasions,I have been to the Republic of Benin. The largest market in Benin Republic (Dantokpa in Cotonou) is not up to Gbagi Market in Ibadan. All you see in the Market are foreign products. The country manufactures virtually nothing. It is a dumping ground for any foreign good.

I was surprised,1day, whn I discovered that they import ordinary pure water from Nigeria. More than 90% of their finished petroleum products are imported illegally from Nigeria. This poses a huge loss & sabotage to d Nigerian economy.

If I am to advise Atiku, I will simply tell him to embark on period of deep sober reflection and retrospection after losing on Feb 16.

I mingle and work with a lot of people from Adamawa, but I am yet to hear anyone amongst them speak glowingly about the man! What will it profit a politician, to gain a portion of the SE, but completely lose his constituency?

Yesterday, I watched d fever pitch reception PMB received in Adamawa/Taraba, & d open endorsement by d Lamido, of whom Atiku is like d second in council by virtue of being Waziri

Please nobody should abuse my late father here o, I didn't come to your page to comment: All this sudden noise and write up to show that "Buhari was playing politics"......

When did it become a crime for politicians to play politics? Will it be wrong to develop our roads, infrastructure, free education, return oil blocks to d State instead of individuals?
What is this noise all about?
GEJ was voted for by d SW in 2011,d same SW voted for Buhari in 2015,what is all this noise all about d SW going for Buhari?

THE ISSUES ARE CLEAR!
a. In 1999, OBJ met naira at 88 to 1 dollar, but left it at abt 130 to 1 dollar;

b. In 2007, naira exchanged to d dollar for 130, but GEJ left it at 235;

c. PMB met it at 235, and in 3 years it is now 360!

Now, let us calculate d percentage devaluation: A. OBJ:
130- 88= 42.
42÷ 88×100= 48% , naira lost value by about 50% under the Obj administration in eight years !

B. GEJ
235- 130= 105÷130 ×100= 81%
Naira lost value by 81%

C. PMB
360-235= 125

125 ÷ 235× 100
= 53%
The naira has lost value by 53% in about 3yrs under PMB!
