Bitcoin staking is coming to Cosmos Hub. Together with @informalinc, we are bringing our Bitcoin staking protocol to @Cosmos, turning Cosmos Hub into a multi-asset security aggregator powered by $ATOM, $BTC, and ecosystem tokens. If the proposal passes, Babylon’s CometBFT extension will be installed on the Cosmos Hub and all its consumer chains. This means bitcoin holders will be able to delegate to Cosmos Hub validators to secure consumer chains.
