@BrainiacLabsLLC @sovietsoleri This is true for the early pre pottery Neolithic, but not for iron and bronze age civilizations. from what I can tell data about ancient Egypt seems to come from a single study that I cant find, whit a sample of about 270 bodies. @BrainiacLabsLLC @sovietsoleri In ancient Greece and Rome, the age average lifespan of those who survived past 5 was about 71, staying generally consisted in pre modern western times(not including plagues famines and great wars.) It would be fair to lower that to 60+ due to selection bias toward the free men.
