I have lived in NWH in Austin for over 26 years. My kids have been at @DossOwls since 2010. Doss has an awesome bookfair that always highlights local author for the adult only part of the event. This year we were goingto hear from author @JasStanford who wrote Forget the Alamo. But they cancelled the even due to less than 5 parents complaining about the book. Now I have gone to over 10 book fairs and they always have interesting authors. When I don’t like one I just don’t go. no need to make an issue for everyone else. Just don’t go.

@bonniekristian @TheWeek 1) My husband and I were at the @BetoORourke rally and I want to tell you what really happened. It was a packed house when these two men pushed their way in. They were together as a group and talking about where to hold the poster when they pushed by us. @bonniekristian @TheWeek @BetoORourke 2) A few of us were irritated because they were being very pushy and rough. Then they moved a few people up from us and held this poster up. “Beto is Christ” and we noticed his friend was pushing further up in the crowd. My husband remarked to keep an eye on those two.
