ANCIENT LAW by Henry Sumner Maine examines how our ancestors thought about law.

Like Coulanges’ The Ancient City, it gives you a look you don’t normally get of your ancestors.

It belongs up there with books like the Iliad when it comes to understanding the ancient mindset.

I don’t like using the term “White.”

It’s impossible to get away from, to be sure, but it waters down everything GREAT from White peoples.
