288,942 acres This is a great point about grief. It's not the same for everyone.

#CalfCanyonFire this morning is 279,868 acres and 27% contained. There are 1,924 personnel on the fire. @NMFireInfo says the fire will be active today, but calmer winds will keep it from growing significantly. It has crossed the crest at Elk Mountain and is moving into an old fire scar. Lots of smoke from this area today.

Originally, I wasn't going to say anything about what's been happening. Then I figured, well, maybe it will help someone else.

(thread) Monday night, I began to have some relatively normal shortness of breath. I thought well, I have severe asthma so maybe it's just a flare. The next morning, I had chills and a headache with runny nose (along with the SOB).

Possible brush fire in the Brea area in or near the Boy Scout camp. Header showing for units on scene. #LACoFD also sending units. Units making their way in say the fire may be deep within the camp. May have to think about structures if that's the case.

Hmm. That's interesting, because I live here and that's not what advocates on the ground say. What's more, three other states and D.C. have more homeless per 100,000 people than California.
