Mayor for Cornwall: the Government unveils its proposals for a mayoral devolution deal for Cornwall today. Cornwall promised £360m over next 30 years, “unleashing its full economic potential”. Control of the Adult Education budget to be devolved to Cornwall by 2025. £8.7m to deliver more homes on brownfield land, £10m “to support delivery of locally-determined housing and heritage priorities”. £500,000 for transport planning and smart ticketing.
