When we were first developing @MARVELSNAP - we wondered if we could do away with a card game staple: The Mulligan. Obviously we did, but early testers hated it. We changed their perception with a single change to 1 card. 🧵 When I first worked on Hearthstone - physical card game mulligans offered just a single choice - do you want to get a new hand with 1 less card? We felt like with our smaller hand size in Hearthstone, a better choice would be to choose X cards to replace.

One moment I often revisit from years ago is when a colleague confided in me about sexual harassment she experienced. I asked if I could report it to HR and she told me no, that it would be a breach of trust. She was too afraid and didn’t want to go through the process. I tried to warn her that silence meant that others could become victims. I wanted to breach trust and just report this fucker. But I didn’t. I still don’t know if I did the right thing. But I know how incredibly courageous you have to be to come forward with these stories.

Taking the kids on a trip and we bought tamagotchis for the kids to keep em busy! I never had one as a child but my friends did and the nostalgia was strong.
