یه ماجرا از اقتصاد رفتاری (behavioral economics) براتون بنویسم که کا شاید نشنیده باشین. معروف به «آزمایش مهدکودکِ اسرائیل» (Israeli kindergarten experiment).

مهدکودک‌هایی در اسراییل این مشکل رو داشتن که تعدادی از مادر/پدرها دیر میومدن دنبالِ یچه‌ها.

۱/ برای رفع این مشکل تصمیم می‌گیرن برای کسایی که بیش از ده دقیقه دیر می‌کنند یه جریمه‌ی نقدیِ کوچیک بذارن.

نتیجه این میشه که تعدادِ والدینی که دیر میومدن دو برابر میشه! علتش هم اینه که دیگه احساسِ گناه نمی‌کردن و فکر می‌کردند دارن پولش رو میدن.

At one point hosted him at my apartment as well. I agree with Perens that RMS's obnoxiousness is part of his being autistic. I personally do not think he should be punished for that. 2/many
