Mona’s cutscene in Summertime Odyssey depicts a crystal bird that ascends into a star in the sky that lights people’s way.

It’s the only one from that event that didn’t explicitly talk abt the characters’ past or depict them in the art.

Mona’s true name & origins are unknown. “Astrologist Mona Megistus” was picked out by Mona & her master, Barbeloth. None of her lore or appearances in the story ever reference her youth, family, or how she came to study under her master.

It’s intentional at this point in the story when we’ve heard abt many families.
