thread: my main tip on buying resale (as someone who has to buy vip resale almost every tour) before you even get a video/screenshot of the ticket itself is going through the person's account. not many media on their account except ticket selling, account is mostly rts, solely retweeting/tweeting stuff related to an artist that is currently going on tour, etc. people also get fooled easily when they see that an account is made a long time ago bc they think that's a good indicator of being legit but tbh most of them are scammers especially if there's not alot of activity on their account
i try to be very careful when sharing tips regarding buying vip resale since i don't want to be responsible if someone ends up getting scammed anyway but i can almost always tell that someone is a scammer just by looking at their account. there's also a feature here where you can check the location of where the account was made and i use that too
