A thread of my favorite games that were iOS exclusive, now no longer available on any platform (for various reasons, not usually Apple's fault). I miss them a lot, and I wish there was a way to emulate them! Many of these are from 2009-10's golden era of experimentation (1/x)
Kometen by @e_svedang and @elhuervo (2010) - I remember this as the one that introduced me to the radical idea that games do not have to provide explicit goals - it can be enough to give an aesthetic experience in a gorgeous world.

The conventional wisdom is that you can figure out roughly how many copies a game has sold on Steam by taking the number of user reviews and multiplying it by 50 (on the pessimistic end) or 100 (on the optimistic end). A thread! (again, sorry - threads are the worst!)
Golf with Your Friends, one of my favorite multiplayer games, has 17321 user reviews (remember, that's between 866k and 1732k copies sold, quite a bit more than, say, Ico). But it has 0 critic reviews on Metacritic.
