"What We Leave Behind: Values, Constraints, and the Legacy of Civilizations"
Below are my slides and the thoughts I shared alongside them 🧵
Every civilization leaves traces.
Some constructed pyramids that still dominate skylines, others carved philosophies into language, or made powerful art. Some left ruins we puzzle over, others left almost nothing at all.
What remains is not chance: it reflects what a people valued, the constraints they endured, and the strategies they chose for survival.
Legacy then is simply the record of values made durable.
