Our thoughts on this somber day:

One million dead from COVID is a monumental tragedy, and there is nothing normal about it. Our thoughts are with the millions of people across the country who have lost loved ones over the past two years. 1/3 We should be mourning and working collectively to honor those who passed by preventing more illness and death. Instead, our leaders have largely abandoned the vulnerable and stopped trying to contain this disease.

Thank You Senator Warren, and What Comes Next:

Earlier this week, we voted to endorse @ewarren at our March general meeting. In a moment when so many people have made choices based on fear, we voted for her because we believe she would have been a phenomenal president. 1/ @BernieSanders was our membership’s close 2nd choice because of his grassroots campaign and bold progressive policy agenda. He understands the urgency of the many crises we face: from climate change to the cruelties of immigration enforcement. 2/
