I think he learned it from scripture..🧵 Matthew 26 tells us Jesus goes to His disciples 3 times after praying and asks why they could not watch with Him "one hour". He suffers alone "in the evening" for a total of three hours in Gethsemane. Elder McConkie suggests it may be 3 or 4 hrs.
