Update: I am seriously thinking about leaving the organization of the @GreenPartyUS in 2024. I have a project or 2 that I want to complete but after that, I am leaving bc I am not getting out of the organization what I wanted to gain. I'm burned out & tired of being disappointed. The organization side of the @GreenPartyUS is a relic. It's not where it should be right now & the gatekeeping factions have too strong of a stranglehold on the organization to overcome. I just feel alone in striving to overcome it all. I have to keep it real with myself.

Update: Been working hard & strong on healing & recovering from a head cold that included a sore throat. Lesson: Keeping liquids up is key. I used to suck at this but learned that if you allow dryness to rule, you'll be sick longer & it could get worse. Stay hydrated. Being sick the past 2-3 weeks made me think about how much I have slacked on my volunteer stuff. Been feeling guilty about it bc I can tell that my energy/aura is intentionally avoiding it. Maybe that came up in how I got to be sick. I kept putting myself last.

I have to do a Tweet 🧵 on this bc the expansion of homophobia & hetero-supremacy in the Black American Community & overall African diaspora never ceases to be insane. Nobody is really talking about it at all & that's been sad. Let me begin by saying that supremacy is supremacy. There are no "levels." You cannot be "selective" on what it is or is not. All supremacies operate the same - structurally, culturally, systemically, & subliminally. So to be hetero-supremacist is to be a supremacist. Period.

As someone who is about justice, I do not, in good conscience, condone the dehumanization of Hamas which only exists bc of the supremacist & racist gov't of #Israel. Rhetoric by Israel officials has been like: "We want their heads on a silver platter." - After terrorizing Gaza. Stop comparing 9/11 to what happened in Israel. That is NOT an accurate comparison. #Israel is NOT a "victim." That gov't is a dictatorship. Be real. What this Israeli gov't needs to do is own its complicity in the deaths of Israelis. Zionists run Israel & they need to go.

Note: I keep learning that people in the #GreenParty organization personally hate me bc I am NOT for mediocrity. I am NOT for the establishment & status quo. I am NOT for the minimalism & incrementalism so many try to censor me or have me censored. 💯 How do you "attack the problem & argument" when the people themselves are the problem?! Their ego? Their attitude? Their ignorance? Their trolling? Their absence of foresight? Their factionary & reactionary behavior? Their toxic behavior? 🤔 I'm trying to figure this out. 🫠💯

I'm a "Systemic Change" Woman unapologetically. I'm about core solution building. Core problem solving. Curing problems, not just treating them. Working at the roots, not "only at the branches." If your "movement" only sits at the branches, it's missing the mark, plot, & point. If your "movement" or "revolution" is fighting at the branches, then it's like operating on a foot for a heart problem or condition. It doesn't make any sense. Our fights for justice, equality, ending of poverty, etc. has to be at the roots. Ending patriarchy. Ending hierarchy.

Considering that I had to work today, I appreciate everyone in Los Angeles that was out to protest in solidarity to #FreePalestine. Theocracy should have no place in gov't. Monopoly & oligarchy should have no place in gov't. Supremacy should also have no place in it. No excuse. The resistance of Palestinians is justified validly & totality. Nobody owes oppressors & supremacists anything. Not attention. Not belief. Not cooperation. Nothing. If you believe that "peace" is found in genocide & control of the minority/marginalized, then you're a warmonger.

So the Powerball is back to $1.2 billion. All I can think about is what I want to do in my community & for a lot of our causes on the left to end poverty & the duopoly. 🤔 We always talk about "what the rich should do" with no real examples of it having been done. I'll be a 1st. Supporting things like Rev. Annie Chambers Pantry is on the list. I still want to learn how to write legislation & policy esp in regards to election integrity & ending electoral monopolies. I would love to help streamline the forming & organizing of housing/tenant unions.

Being an elementary school student in the 21st century seems to be about "protecting kids from reality." They don't have recess like we used to do. They don't have real meals at school. They don't get taught the truth out of the illusion of "safety & protection." What da hell?! In 3rd grade, I had to do a book report on Shirley Chisholm & was taught California history. In 4th grade, I had to do a book report on Ida B. Wells & do current event reports on the LA Riots. I learned about sex & reproduction beginning in Middle School so I have thoughts.

Any time I hear a scab, class reductionist, or CEO say that "workers are paid less bc they don't hold any risk in the company or don't hold as much value as a CEO," I 🤣 bc all workers have to do is empty warehouses, offices, hospitals, stores, etc. for 2 months. All workers have to do is leave & starve the CEOs for 2 mos. Some may argue a shorter time for impact based on the industry but imagine walking to a Target & nobody is working for 2 mos causing a ripple effect... Treat this like prep for a natural disaster like a hurricane.

Being harassed by security on leaving work for having a clear backpack that was "airport level scanned" when I came to work & a plastic bag of bottles & cans to recycle is a level of insanity I will never get. How are empty cans & bottles "property of a stadium?" 🤣🥴🤦🏾‍♀️🙄 When workers protest & strike over outrageous & abrupt 💩 in "policies" & "policy changes," I get it full stop. I just learned even more why we need real unions & labor movement. Employers being tyrannical will never not make any sense. Period.

Tulsi Gabbard was a congresswoman out of Hawaii that held the position of National Democratic Party Vice Chair. Personally, I was progressive then.

Let me breakdown this historical timeline (& again I suggest research for clarification in case of being incorrect) but let me begin w/ when reportedly patriarchy began as a thing systemically & sociopolitically: 10,000-12,000 yrs ago. Agricultural Revolution. 1st Supremacy. Money & money systems reportedly were created & instituted by men beginning around 5,000 yrs ago. Reportedly & also around 3,000 yrs ago the caste system was born so I stand corrected. Out of class came caste. My fault. But again, you cannot be "class only" & not address caste.

Note: Reportedly (& this can be researched for clarification), money & money systems (aka economy) did NOT exist prior to 5,000 yrs ago. Therefore, caste predated "class" & that's what we have been under more. Racism, reportedly, began 1500-1700 yrs ago so it's not exclusive. You cannot talk about class & caste w/out talking about race & sex/gender. Repeat: Human hierarchy is the tree. Male supremacy is the roots. All other supremacies are the branches (ie: white, hetero, etc.). Reportedly, patriarchy (aka male supremacy) began 12,000 yrs ago.

Note: It's amazing to me how the SAME "independent media" that accused the @GreenPartyUS of "rigging its own primary against Dario Hunter in 2020" has been the SAME ONES spinning & skewing the 2024 Primary towards Dr. West being the "presumptive nominee." Talk about rigging. Nobody in the "independent left media" can talk about the "@GreenPartyUS rigging its own primary in 2020" while being hypocritical regarding the 2024 GPUS Presidential Primary Election. Newsflash: Dr. West is NOT the "only one running" or "only one seriously running."

The thing about theism (religion/spirituality/cultism) is that maleness is considered "most supreme" & to think that prior to 12,000 yrs ago, none of this existed. Ironically, there was no such thing as "supremacy" prior to 12,000 yrs ago either. Men have had us f'd up af here. Theism is also hierarchical. The ideologies of all theism (spirituality/religion/cultism) are hierarchical like all things that have evolved out of patriarchy & its ideologies of supremacy. Maleness is both worshipped/idolized/revered & feared holistically.

My fellow college alum & FB friend said it best when thinking about it all... "Imagine creating a system that dehumanizes your counterpart for thousands of years just so you can 'feel' powerful as a 'man.' It’s literally abuse." Bingo!! 🎯💯💥 Even worse, it's narcissism. All supremacies came out of male supremacy & in all supremacies, narcissism is inherent. The gaslighting. The triangulation. The devaluing, diminishing, discarding. The flying monkeys (submissive women). All of it. Men are the originators & there's endless evidence backing that.

Had a thought. People love to complain about the Black history that is being banned from being learned bc there is a lot that may "incriminate White ppl" but think about all of the women's history not learned as well bc it may "incriminate men." Racism came out of sexism. White supremacy came out of male supremacy. Don't believe me? Go back in time. Way back. Back into time. Long b4 discrimination based on skin color existed, discrimination based on sex/gender existed. How does one think we came to live in "patriarchal societies?" It's inequality.

From "Fight The Power" to "What's Going On?," music has always been a way in which to spread a sociopolitical movement message, just like mural & other forms of art. This is the time in which artists can create content that focuses on issues like labor, education, climate change. Heck, artists can make content that talks about the rising of AI & the dangers of it being in the wrong hands used in the most oppressive, suppressive, & regressive ways. Quality content w/ meaningful messaging are what artists need to work on now more than ever.
