Bovino may be out but the DHS has just acquired a military base in St. Paul. This signals that the DHS is enhancing command & control, surveillance and they're probably trying to stop their cars from getting destroyed. Ft Snelling is a former internment camp for Dakota prisoners Image Also, it's probably getting hard to find a hotel anymore.

A Spanish law professor and author spent several years trying to track down evidence of the "Cartel de los Soles" existence and its connection to the Venezuelan government. This was his conclusion in 2020: Image The author, Fernando Casado Gutiérrez, analyzed every government, non government and media report that mentioned the cartel and consistently found that there was no evidence for the claims. The presidency of the Republic of Yemen has confirmed that the israeli raid on Sanaa struck PM Al-Rahwi during a meeting. He was martyred alongside some of his ministers. While the event is unfortunate, it still reveals an ongoing intelligence failure by israel-- The PM was the head of the government in Sanaa and had to oversee day to day management of domestic matters and had no role in military matters nor was he considered a part of the inner circle of Ansarallah.

Although the translation is a bit weird, Ynet claims that they have learned that the UN will formally declare tomorrow that a famine is occurring in Gaza. Ignore the latter half, obviously there's a fucking famine. Image As of the end of July, the UN claimed "two out of three famine thresholds have been reached in Gaza: plummeting food consumption and acute malnutrition. Famine has not been declared as the third criteria, deaths from malnutrition, cannot be demonstrated."

Hamas has shifted from an organized military force to a decentralized “resistance” movement, engaging in guerrilla warfare, which shields it from Israel’s continued operational efforts. -INSS In other words, occupying territory in Gaza or conducting additional military maneuvers is unlikely to bring Hamas to the point of collapse. Rather, this reality may lead to prolonged and effective guerrilla warfare against IDF forces. -INSS

I don't think it would be farfetched to say that Hamas weathering 15 months of aerial bombardment and ground invasion has a long historical thread tying back to the US dropping over half a billion tons of bombs on North Korea. Image There are many factors that allowed AQB to emerge from all corners of Gaza on Sunday, but a major one was their spider web of underground tunnels. A complex, endless maze of reinforced tunnels 50-100 meters underground with over 5000 access shafts.
