Action Requires Practice: a thread on how to stand up for people being harassed: I worked at a school w a “bad” reputation. People, including teachers, said horrible things about students. I was out w teachers, we split the bill, it involved doing math, and a teacher said, (1/5) “Our students could never do this, haha.” 2nd teacher said, “Don’t talk about our students that way. If you’re going to, you can leave.” I admired that teacher SO MUCH for saying what I felt too new/young/scared to say. I rolled it around in my head all the time & the next (2/5)
