🚨 BREAKING: Sacramento City Council just voted to enact the most ambitious pro-housing zoning reform in California history.

What does this mean? A thread: Image First, Council voted to eliminate unit caps citywide, period, and move to a form-based code (FAR). This is the holy grail of housing reform.

More than just ending single-family zoning, this ends the notion that housing should be blocked based on units, not scale, ever.
