I’ve spent a lot of time thinking and even writing about how Daffy and Porky are the only two Looney Tunes who are friends. The world of Looney Tunes is mean-spirited enough that friendship is usually employed as more of a gag than as a backdrop for characters. This is why I don’t include Ralph and Sam. They’re friends but only to underline the absurdity of their violent professional relationship.
