🧵I've seen quite a few posts mentioning Meir Kahane recently. Everybody in Israel knows this is controversial though many people might not know why.
What makes this more interesting is that when @TRobinsonNewEra and @pmclauth published Manifesto last year it spoke about Kahane
🧵Kahane advocated moving Arabs out of Israel. This is not much different to Trump now suggesting the move out of Gaza. Like the old joke about the woman or the prostitute, now we're just arguing over how many.
But Manifesto took the story of Kahane in a different direction.

I’m trying to plough through the @TuckerCarlson's latest guests dreary stock rehashing of every possible reason to hate Israel. It's tired bullshit and straight out of the Soros far left canon of ideas about Israel which completly fails to make useful predictions.
🧵 Seriously if there was ever a moment to grab "greater Israel" (what a crock of shit that idea is) now would be the moment to drive tanks to Damascus and Baghdad.
Jordan should be taken too.
Who in Israel would let anyone send our kids to these places? It's obvious nonsense.

This is the best question and the worst answer from the hearing on Jew hatred at @Harvard @MIT & @Penn yesterday.
It's from @KathyManningNC and FUNDAMENTALLY challenges @harvard President because of the TEACHING of Jew hatred at Harvard.
This is more important than gotchas about student behaviour is this challenges @Harvard over THEIR teaching of the Big Lie (as Hitler might have called it): Israel is a "Settler Colonial State" (I'm sure they add racist & apartheid too).

This is the European Hospital in Gaza.
What do you think those stripes on the roof are?
Shall we zoom in? Do you know what they are yet?

With the number of IDF killed on Saturday over 100 I'm starting to understand the IDF soldiers fought but leadership simply didn't have the imagination to forsee 1000+ terrorists flooding the border.
There wasn't a large enough number of troops at either first line or on standby.
Not knowing it was coming can be partly explained by not even imagining it was possible.
It is profoundly depressing when just about the only responsibility of the Israeli Government I actually believe to be essential, was utterly broken.
