look, i enjoyed eddie redmayne's tony performance
but the thing about joel grey and alan cumming is that they are both queer actors
their queerness gives more weight to the emcee because at the end of the play he too becomes victim to his own complicity
redmayne, a cis straight actor, has already taken heat for portraying a queer character. he's since called that role "a mistake" but I'm a taurus and I don't forget
you *cannot* separate cabaret from its queerness. the autobiographical source material was written by a gay man!

in light of the vice news i want to share a few tools for reporters to regularly save their work in pdf form in case it ever gets disappeared from the internet
the first is pretty manual but it's a cool browser extension called print-friendly. you can save any website as a pdf and then delete sections not essential to your story like ads, related stories, etc.
