UPDATE: Tomorrow's "major announcement" by DC AG related to the Commanders will likely be about a civil case. U.S. Attorney's Office for DC would have to be involved in a criminal filing—and spox tells @FOS that it won't be part of the news conference. frontofficesports.com/ag-to-make-maj… There’s still the possibility of a criminal referral to the US Attorney. The DOJ would have to conduct its own probe into the allegations and could (eventually) file charges. That can take quite some time. Just wanted to lay that out as one potential outcome.

Brett Favre is (mostly) scrubbed from the @HallowApp website, but not the app itself.

My updated @FOS story on how brands have reacted — or more precisely haven’t reacted — to Favre’s ties to millions in alleged welfare fraud in Mississippi. ⤵️
🔗 frontofficesports.com/brands-are-qui… The company (per @crunchbase) has taken in $55 million in funding.

Last month, Hallow announced a deal with Notre Dame "to provide students... a personal resource to deepen their relationship with God and strengthen their mental health." prnewswire.com/news-releases/…

NEW: Two companies that have deals with Brett Favre have quietly scrubbed the Hall of Fame QB from their sites as the allegations related to his connection to an alleged welfare fraud scheme in Mississippi continue to roll out. My @FOS story. frontofficesports.com/brands-are-qui… None of the four companies that have deals with Favre got back to me. That includes SiriusXM, which has MANY messages from me over the last week.

Copper Fit has had a deal with Favre for 8 years. It's still running ads, featuring Favre on its site. copperfitusa.com/pages/about-us…

The #Browns fans who set up the crass massage table display in the parking lot before yesterday's game basically can't be banned or face any real punishment by the team. Why? This is an actual First Amendment issue. Image The lot where the display was set up is owned by the City of Cleveland. Even if Browns found the display offensive, those fans have 1A protections since the symbolic speech occurred on government-owned land. Source tells @FOS any punishment would be "difficult" to carry out.
