Earlier this week, I invited the other Ward 3 candidates to join me in calling on the @dcchamber@dcbia@RAMWdc@FedCityCouncil@AOBAMetro@GWBCC to release the recording of the candidates forum that they hosted on May 6. All but one candidate (@EJGoulet) signed on.
Here is the context:
This forum was held on @udc_edu's campus, open to the public/press, & streamed online. After the forum, I asked for a copy of the recording. I thought I did well! But I also wanted to re-watch an answer from @EJGoulet on racial diversity in Ward 3.

Over the past three months, I have responded to a lot of different questionnaires from various groups. In this thread, I am going to walk through my responses to the Hardy PTO. If the suspense is too much, you can read through my other questionnaires here: benbergmann.com
I touched on the school-related issues I have worked on as an ANC, including:
-The ongoing discussions re Foxhall/MacArthur
-The need for a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for teachers & eligible students
-Traffic safety around schools
-Outdoor learning
Vision Zero in DC has been a failure. There has been too much investment in PR campaigns and flashy slogans and not enough progress on actually improving sasfety on our streets.
