1/ It's becoming clear to me that Trump is transforming the Republican party into being socially conservative, and more economically liberal (modified-populist).

He's capturing the juicy upper left quadrant (see graph below) of the political spectrum that we have talked about for so long as being surprisingly unmet by either side in US politics.Image 2/ *This* is the realignment that is happening around the world. People are mistaking this for a "rejection of incumbents due to covid-based inflation". Nope.

That is just the trigger of the realignment.
