Requiring guests to do some cleanup (dishes in washer, beds stripped) is fine if it's a huge vacation home or the stay is <1 week. That said, @Airbnb should require pre-booking disclosure of cleaning policy; guests should report if a hosts asks for more.

If you're renting a place for a month you should be expected to do a bit more than if you rent it for the weekend.
