(thread) So, ever since LPS Chief Shahin Mehdizadeh publicly stated (twice) that he contacted the province to instigate an ASIRT investigation into the searching of Lethbridge-West MLA, former Environment Minister Shannon Phillips' name, I've been working on a timeline. The process to make that happen is called a 46.1 notification to the Director Of Law Enforcement (DLE). It's the part of the Police Act if there's a serious incident (ie. officer involved shooting) or the potential of any serious issue within an Alberta Police service.

A man took shelter in the outdoor lobby of my condo building over night. I asked him what he needed. He said no one has ever asked him that. I suggested perhaps warm thermal socks and raided hubby’s new sock part of the drawer to bring him two pairs. Turns out, he had on... ... thin little tennis socks. I offered to call Alpha House DOAP team and he said no, as he was hoping to meet a friend. There was an Amazon package sitting there for the taking and he didn’t touch it. I'm tweeting a bit late from BC's quash Bill 12, the so-called "turn off the taps legislation" because it's unconstitutional court arguments. I showed on time and forgot my laptop. Dear Hubby ran home to get it for me like a kid who forgot lunch. He's good like that. At any rate, Gareth Morley will be arguing for BC and Evan Dixon will be arguing for Alberta.
