Ok, this is inspired by that post where #JiangCheng’s ymj is filled with spite fulled over achievers who always dominate the intersect competitions.
Except here’s the divergence:
Seeing as ymj and lp were completely decimated bc of the wens, except for jc, it took several years+
For the sect’s disciples to grow and learn enough to adequately represent ymj. And thus, in a show of sportsmanship (mockery) the other three great sects (mainly llj) graciously let ymj recover for a few years before they were required to have their disciples represent them +

Personal/rant/vent
The thing about me is that i was always the “Average” student. The one that would sit behind the characters and be nothing more than a face in the crowd.
Not bad, but not good either.
Which is why i always enjoyed it (and got a sense of vindication) when the teacher would be surprised at how well i did on tests and projects.

This causes a divid not only between the parents (although only yzy knows of both their affiliations) but also their children.
Bc jfm taught ww/x and jyl about the templars, and the templar’s beliefs.
But yzy took #JiangCheng aside, seeing as he’s more like her, and taught him the assassins way, as well as taught him about templars, and thus his father’s and sibling’s beliefs.
It causes a bit of a rift.

I, myself, am not a christian, but i did grow up in a very christian heavy environment (christian school, Wednesday bible study, going to my friend’s church occasionally, christian +
Family members, etc) and i have read the bible at least twice (listen, it’s like the godly equivalent of the grimm fairy tales)
And, without fail, one of the biggest things that christians preach constantly is “love thy neighbor” and “treat others how you wish to be treated.”

Ok, jin ling is 100% one of those babies that, if you look away for half a second, would somehow end up on the roof chasing a butterfly or smth. #JiangCheng lost about 20 years of his life withing the first three months of jl learning how to crawl.
When jl started walking it was absolute hell. For this, and solely this, problem, jc had his r&d department creat a tracking system so that jc knows where jl is at all moments.
