Fake news is the other virus that’s getting worse infiltrating not just white GOP but local ethnic media that feeds immigrant communities. Just lectured my mom for an hour clearing up the lies she’s hearing. It is everywhere.
She believes me but it’s scary—she’s apolitical; she’s barely tuned in; and to hear her recite some of this stuff is like she’s being lured by a cult. I really don’t know how we are going to beat back fake news.
