Diabetes and Stroke

1. When you have diabetes, you are more at risk of cardiovascular disease, which can lead to a stroke. 2. A stroke is when blood can't get to your brain and it's starved of vital oxygen and nutrients. This can happen if your blood vessels are damaged or blocked let me explain why having diabetes means you are more at risk of this happening.

Diabetes and Thrush

1.Thrush is a yeast infection (candida albicans) which tends to affect warm, moist areas of the body such as the vagina, penis, mouth and certain areas of skin. 2.Thrush is more common in people with diabetes as high sugar levels lead to better conditions for the yeast to grow.

A dry mouth coupled with a higher amount of glucose in the saliva can also make for favourable conditions for thrush.

DIABETES & FASTING

1.While fasting is an important spiritual aspect of many religions it can lead to health problems for people with diabetes.One of the longest periods of fasting is the Islamic month of Ramadan during which guidance for people with Diabetes is key. 2. If you treat your diabetes with certain medications such as insulin, there is danger of the blood sugar levels after fasting becoming too low. This can lead to a hypoglycaemia, or having your blood sugar levels too high which can lead to Diabetic Ketoacidosis.....

Cholesterol is fat that is found in our blood. Sometimes it’s called lipids. There are two main types – HDL or high-density lipoprotein (good cholesterol) and LDL or low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol).

What l have learnt through @nelsonchamisa speeches during the rallies across provinces is that @CCCZimbabwe is a whole new political party and that puts the positions of those who were with Chamisa in MDC A under threat if my reading of the situation is right,these are new.... 2...beginnings and that being said means it may not go down well with some people with the "chinhu chedu" mentality and that is why some of those who were with Chamisa are acting funny,they do not want anyone coming close to their positions.They will plot @nelsonchamisa downfall.

THE THREAD:MARONDERA GANGS IN ZANU PF.

This thread is a follow up to the other thread I did a couple of weeks ago in which I was highlighting the existence of gangs in Zanu PF,this thread discusses events that I am privy to that took place between the year 2000 to year 2014. 1.The land reform ushered in a new relationship between war veterans and youths particularly in Zanu PF.
