Ted Cruz just said that because of Trump's Supreme Court short list, Kavanaugh's nomination has been "ratified" by the 2016 election. Setting aside, you know, the popular vote, BRETT KAVANAUGH WAS NOT ON TRUMP'S 2016 SHORT LIST.

He was added in 2017. 1/ How did Kavanaugh campaign his way onto Trump's short list?
