I know a lot of Christians are upset with me now and don’t agree with everything I say. Before I begin my ramble, I’m entirely okay with that, and I hold no ill will if you don’t want to associate with me anymore because politics aren’t your bread and butter, or too divisive. I completely understand, and I don’t take it to heart because we all have different focuses or places we’re called to be.
Thank you to those who have respectfully shared their views and disagreements with me. I really appreciate you guys and respect what you would rather do; it’s honorable. If we’re still friends, even if it’s just privately, thank you. If not, I do wish you the best, and God bless you with everything you do. I hope it goes really well!
Now for the ramble.
I will preface with my definition of politics based on what I've learned: it is the governance of a nation, including the allocation of resources, power, and domestic and foreign laws.
In the past 2 weeks or so, really, maybe even for the entirety of 2020 going forward, politics have become more heated. With technology that allows us to stay connected 24/7, intense situations on all sides of the map have become more magnified, a lot of it by design. It is also history repeating itself as nations try to grab power and resources for themselves, and as a result, it puts innocent civilians in the crossfire.
It will continue to build up and up until the building can no longer hold the weight and crashes down. I don’t believe all of these situations will get better overall; however, I do believe it’s a great time to bring more and more people to Christ. Not every leader's heart will change, and there will always be someone siding with the enemy for their gain.
