And I can prove it. As KUSK's resident defender, let me break down Barnes's politically-motivated bullshit for you. Attend. Barnes and some Canadian nudnik with the inauspicious name of "Viva Frei" took to the YuuTuubes to bloviate about the recent arrest of Minnesota demi-lawyer and noted cocaine enthusiast Nickolas "Templeton" Rackets.

About once a week I have someone call me in a blind panic about to send hundreds or thousands of dollars to a scammer. My advice to them is always the same: PAY NOTHING.

Nothing about paying guarantees the person on the other end will do what they say. They will continue to extort you as long as you are willing to pay.

The best thing to do is immediately block them. If they message you from new profiles, block, block, block.

THIS HAS BEEN FORETOLD AND YOU DID NOT LISTEN TO THE JEREMIADS OF THE PAST, NOW YOU MUST SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES TODAY It helps if you think of our modern culture as not a hodge-podge or mixture of varying different ethnic, national, and supernational cultures, but an overarching material culture that is germane to all modern humans.

Hey guys, no bullshit, let’s talk. If you’re a person who loves women, we gotta do better than what you see here. I’ve been married to my wife for almost 14 years at this point, and with her for 21. It hasn’t all been sunshine and roses. Or whatever the goth equivalent of that is. Moonlight and bats.

For those of you too young to remember the great moral panics of days past, I'm about to re-traumatize your Gen X and millennial elders by recounting the dark days of our youth and the Satanic panic/day care sex-abuse hysteria. Throughout history, humans have sometimes been affected by this weird happenstance where occasionally we go crazy and murder the shit out of people for no good reason. This is an instance of the social phenomenon we call a "riot."

Every single bit of this tweet is wrong, like, empirically so, and I am generally in favor of archery and archers. The bow is a magnificent weapon, far more effective than most people think, and the skill of learning archery is worthwhile and teaches you many other useful skills about patience while improving your core strength. By all means, learn to use a bow!

I am pretty sure both Hitler and Mussolini were elected the first time. And every Republican state has changed its voting rules to give the executive more power over local elections, but… The modern GOP isn’t explicitly “fascist” by the political theory definition of the term. They are theocratic authoritarian, and current legal theory embraced by them attempts to harmonize theocracy with the Constitution by permitting violations of the First Amendment.

So tonight for Movie Saturday I’m rewatching Bram Stoker’s Dracula, which I haven’t seen since I was a teenager, and before I read the novel. I wasn’t aware Coppola got the novel’s themes this well or represented them this well on screen. How anyone could have read Stoker’s novel and not thought “yeah this dude is like SUPER gay,” I’ll never know. But Victorians were weird about sex. And how this movie got made in the 90s I’ll also never know. It pushes boundaries on sexuality on film.

A NOTE ON HECKLING AND FREE SPEECH

If a person is giving a speech in public, say, on a street corner, or a public park, then that person runs the risk of being heckled, even into stopping their speech. This is the proverbial "MORE SPEECH" the First Amendment requires. A speaker at a private function has more protection, up to and including what the host is willing to permit, or subject to the commercial limitations if admission to the event requires a ticket or purchase of space.
