A Jungian coach helped me foster greater creativity, which I utilize in my writing, and in software design.
It begins with cultivating a sense of ease. It's an invitation for intuition to manifest.
Anxiety contracts the mind; ease expands.
She also taught me to remind myself that I am "merely sketching."
This has the effect of reducing expectation, thus avoiding excessive self-criticism and "analysis paralysis".
If a "sketch" subsequently resembles my original objective, it is renamed "what I wanted".

Pro tip:
do not confuse "my personal preferences" and "ethics"
The above tip isn't a trite aphorism — understanding that your system of ethics is contingent, local, and temporal, can be quite liberating

Express dissatisfaction — with your local world and with the wider world at large — but allow that yearning for something different to serve you, and not vice-versa.
Dissatisfaction with the attitudes and actions of others, and compassion for the plight of our confused species, are not mutually exclusive.

We all have different-sized energy tanks.
If the people you live with are unconcerned about COVID, consider leaving them be.
Logic is an ineffective means of persuasion for the majority of humans.
Maintain your distance, keep yourself safe.
Love people, try to help as you are able, yes.
But be mindful of the effectiveness of your attempts to reason/communicate with others.
If they don't get it after several attempts, you may need to step aside and allow cause and effect to be their teacher.

Keep your distance from those wearing valved respirators:
"A person exhibiting symptoms of illness should not wear a valved respirator, because exhaled particles may leave the respirator via the valve and enter the surrounding environment, potentially exposing other people"
A valve on a respirator mask (e.g., N95) reduces resistance during exhalation. This allows a mask to be worn comfortably for long periods.
But given the possibility of asymptomatic transmission, be careful not to stand too close to someone wearing these masks.

"Quercetin as an Antiviral Agent Inhibits Influenza A
Virus (IAV) Entry"
very technical, but widely studied research article that is guiding some of us combining zinc and Quercetin for COVID prophylaxis

I have watched every video in this playlist. Some are quite technical, but still accessible to non-professionals.
Is there ultimate meaning?
Is meaning relative/local/contextual?
Is meaning an illusion created by mind?
For the purpose of intentionally cultivating happiness, none of the above matter.

My dear lama told me that the best meditation arises from relaxation of body and mind
Another gem from my lama, Chagmé Rinpoche:
In meditation, is mind resting in a slumped, sleepy dullness?
Dull states are easily mistaken for genuine calm abiding (shamatha).
If mind is dull, return it to vivid, uplifted wakefulness.

@girlziplocked we're upright chimpanzees with barely a clue RE our inner world or the outer world surrounding us.
humans have no genuine insight into the working of their minds.
conjuring reasons for why we do/don't do things is mere improvisation.
Over the course of 25 years, I've done a lot of practice, including a total of 2+ years in retreat. I've spent a lot of time working with mind.
Meditation is tremendously beneficial, but it won't provide insight into the inner workings of mind.
