1/6: $TSLA forward EPS estimates (weighted avg of next two years) have been revised upward from -$2.89 back on 10/31/17 to $6 today, yet the stock price has moved sideways the entire time. Such multiple compression only occurs for one of two reasons: 1) declining growth rate, or 2) rising equity risk premium. Since $TSLAQ topline least squares growth exceeds 60%, it's safe to say #1 is not a factor. Given that the world now knows Tesla’s profit potential after Q3, we actually believe the reason for $TSLA subpar performance...
