Up until 6 months ago, the majority of the left recognised how essential Corbyn’s leadership wld be to cut through to the public with a new party
The super wealthy establishment must be rubbing their hands with glee at the way so many are now desperate to squander that asset!
It’s like the people’s vote all over again! The wealthy establishment funded campaigns that sounded good at their core & had populist appeal, which were nothing but Trojan horses used to wreck our election chances.

It is much easier for @zarahsultana to speak with conviction now re the weaponisation of AS, but the political culture when JC was leader was fundamentally different.
We were in a different political and emotional landscape, pre genocide in Gaza.
When Jeremy was unfairly suspended, only 1 left wing MP, Nadia Whittome, put out a personal statement in support.
Zarah only signed a muted, procedural orientated joint statement which came out 3 weeks later.
