Since the establishment of the occupation state after the Palestinian Nakba in 1948, the United States has had several presidents, but what they all agreed on, despite their different ideologies and political and social doctrines, was to continue to support "Israel." Image Truman, the first to recognize Israel

The United States of America under President Harry Truman was the first country to recognize "Israel", immediately after David Ben-Gurion announced its establishment in May 1948 on the ruins of hundreds of Palestinian villages and cities that were destroyed and their people were forced to leave them under the massacres, bombings and brutal attacks carried out by the Zionist gangs.

The US recognition of the Israeli occupation state launched the beginning of widespread support on the economic, military, armament and political levels

In 1946, Truman announced his support for opening the doors of Jewish immigration to Palestine and called on Britain, which was the occupying power at the time, to facilitate the movement of Jews to the country.

Although officials in the US State Department and other agencies warned Truman against the establishment of a "Jewish state" in Palestine, due to their fear that it would turn into a vassal of the Soviet Union, which was also one of the first to recognize the occupation state, at the beginning, before it turned into an American ally and follower in subsequent years, Truman began the era of the US-Israeli alliance that will reach at this stage to the extent that the United States leads Israeli wars against the Palestinians and Arabs.Image

🧵 The Key to the The Chruch of the Holy Sepulchre is one of many proofs that Palestinians have always been in the holy land as land owners. Image

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City is considered the most important and most sacred for Christians, and cannot be entered unless they open its only door with a key given by Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi to a Muslim family when he recaptured Jerusalem from the Crusaders more than 8 centuries ago, along with his permission that they alone have the right to open and close it with the key that is now held by the descendant of this family, Palestinian Adib Jawad Joudeh.Image

I would like to bring your attention to an aspect of the UNRWA that is so politically important to the Palestinian cause; it is perhaps the MAIN reason Israel wants to get rid of them by any means necessary. If you are a Palestinian refugee, you are registered in the UNRWA; meaning you are registered for the “right of return”, you are validated and confirmed to be a descendent of a family that was kicked out in the Nakba. Without the UNRWA, there are no official documentation done by an Internationally recognized organization for these people and that is precisely what Israel wants. Of course we have our own organizations and such but they are not “recognized” on the international law level. No UNRWA = Nobody to return

🧵Odai Tamimi, the pursued 23 year old that became the pursuer for 11 days. Despite his young age, Tamimi was able to defeat the entire security system of a self-proclaimed superpower with the help of Jerusalem youth.

Today is the second anniversary of his heroic martyrdom. Image October 2022 was filled with Israeli violations of Al-Aqsa mosque and Palestinians in Jerusalem, but one video was the breaking point for Odai; the video of Israeli police detaining a Palestinian woman while she was screaming on the ground.

🧵History of Palestinian Internal Division

-The Palestinian division, which some call the conflict of brothers, is a term that refers to the emergence of two political and executive authorities in the summer of 2007 in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, one under the control of the Fatah movement in the West Bank and the other under the control of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip.Image The division is usually attributed to what happened in 2006, when elections were held for the so-called Palestinian Legislative Council, where Hamas won the majority of seats in both Gaza and the West Bank, which made Fatah take steps to object to the results, and played forces against the "national" cause, as a result of which armed confrontations broke out, killing many civilians and combatants of both sides, and Hamas took control of the situation and became the de facto authority in the Gaza Strip, as of 2007, and Fatah became the de facto authority in the West Bank, and this date became the date adopted by writers and officials to determine when the division took place. Many argue that the split did not begin in 2007, and Fatah's failure in the 2006 elections was not the cause of the split, it is well established that the events of 2006-2007 were a manifestation of the division in the Palestinian arena. Reality is, the split occurred when the Oslo Accords were signed, starting with the mutual recognition between the PLO and Israel, followed by the Declaration of Principles, the signing of Oslo I and II, and other agreements, all of which signaled a series of official Palestinian "surrender" to the settler government.

🧵🌸The Palestinian "Chrysanthemum Flower" A secret women's resistance group before the Nakba

The chrysanthemum is known as one of Palestine's most famous wildflowers during the spring season, but it is also the name of the first underground feminist organization that was active in resisting the occupation and launched military attacks against Zionist gangs in Jaffa before the 1948 Palestinian Nakba.Image The Chrysanthemum Flower Association was founded in 1947 by sisters Muhiba and Nariman Khorshid, who were joined by a number of Palestinian women and some Arab and foreign men. While the organization did provide nursing services and help the poor and students, its work shifted to armed struggle, and its members were able to launch several military operations against Zionist gangs.Image

Basil Al-Araj was a product of revolutionary intellectuals such as Ghassan Kanafani

His story is all about the struggle to find answers to the many questions he had about existence and resistance.

“Basil” means the courageous and brave one, and that is what he was.

The apartheid wall was built by Israel in 2002 in the West Bank, at a total length of 708 kilometres (440 mi), 9 meters tall

Palestinians turned such an ugly structure of separation and segregation into a canvas of beautiful and funny art
