Why are Hanafis the Majority,
& The Vision of Imam Abū Yūsuf :

"No! It is precisely the Judiciary which spreads & teaches the People Fiqh,

The Intellectual superiority of Kūfah ; The Birthplace of Hanafism

Sayyiduna Ibn Mas‘ūd devoted himself to teaching the people of Kufa the Quran & Sunnah for about 15 years.

During this time, Kufa became filled with Qurrā' & memorizers of the Qur’an, as well as jurists and... Muhaddithīn, numbering in the thousands. What an exceptional man he was!

He was not alone in spreading knowledge in this new city.

He was assisted by several companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, such as Sa‘d ibn Abī Waqqāṣ, Hudhayfah, ‘Ammār, Salmān, and Abū Mūsa

In a hadith reported by khatib:

"Do you give consideration (and thus hesitate) from mentioning the corrupt man, so that people learn of him?

Do mention him, and his faults so that people are warned of him". Ábdullāh ibn al-Mubārak said Muállā ibn Hilāl narrates lies.

A Sufi objected and said: “O Abū Abdu’r Raĥmān, isn’t this backbiting?”

Ibn Mubārak replied: “Silence! If we do not expose them, how else will truth and falsehood be apparent?”

"رواہ الشیخان" & "متفق علیه"

As Per the Fuqahā, both terms are the same.

Now Although some Muhaddithīn have used Both in One meaning, Generally, In the Terminology of the Muhaddithīn, What is Dhāhir Is that the 2 of them are Different.... By them, Muttafaq A'layh refers to a Hadith that both Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim have narrated in their books from the SAME Sahabi.

Whereas Rawah ul Shaykhān refers to a Hadith that Imam Bukhari & Imam Muslim have both narrated in their books but from different companions.

Shah Ziauddin Madani, The Sheikh of Arabs and non-Arabs Alike, was also known as Imam Malik II

He resided in Madinah for nearly 75 years, never leaving except for the following journeys:

Journey to Turkey in 1333 AH

Bareilly in 1339 AH.... Baghdad in 1343 AH

& Hyderabad Deccan in 1352 AH

Even when doctors advised him to go to Jeddah for treatment due to his eye ailment, he refused, saying,

“This humble servant cannot leave Madinah due to his eyes.”

Thread 🧵: An Interesting Tahqeeq

In English, what we refer to as "wife," the Quran uses 3 different words for it:

1. إمراءة
2. زوجة
3. صاحبة

إمراءة :
refers to a wife with whom there is a physical relationship, but no mental/ideological connection..... زوجة :
refers to a wife with whom there is both a mental & physical connection, meaning there is harmony both intellectually and physically.

صاحبة :
refers to a wife with whom there is neither a physical nor a mental connection.

Now, let’s reflect on the verses of the Quran:

🧵 Who is a Rafidi?

A Rafidi is a person who considers it permissible to Insult and defame the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ

*(القاموس الوحید، صفحہ 648)*

Hafiz al-Dhahabi (may Allah have mercy on him) writes:

"و من أبغض الشيخين و اعتقد صحة إمامتهما
فهو رافضي مقيت،

(1/?).... و من سبهما و اعتقد أنهما ليسا بإمامي هدى فهو من غلاة الرافضة"*

Meaning, a person who harbors enmity towards the Shaykhan ( Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) and still considers them rightful caliphs, is a Rafidi and worthy of Hatred.

About two years ago, I was in the service of Siraaj al-Fuqahaa, the researcher of contemporary issues, Hazrat Mufti Nizamuddin Sahib Qibla, Head Teacher of Jamia Ashrafia Mubarakpur.

Various topics were being discussed. During the conversation, the topic of the Ahl ul-Quran sect came up.

So mufti Sahab narrated to us that once some people came to him and brought an individual with them.

The person arriving & being welcomed is not an ordinary individual... but a great giant of the Ahl-e-Sunnah, an esteemed scholar, a distinguished jurist, the grand mufti of his time, author of numerous books, the excellent teacher and skilled debater, the revered Allama "Mufti Sharif-ul-Haq Amjadi" (may Allah have mercy on him).
