hey everyone. i'm sorry if i hadn't responded to everyone's messages in time, but i just wanna let you know i'm extremely thankful for your support. i know it's tired & cliche to hear this (considering how 2020 has been) but i haven't been feeling well for quite a while already… …even before the pandemic. but i'm also the kind of person who doesn't like to show what i'm actually going through deep inside -- and always try to give off a facade of being chummy & happy-go-lucky all the time. i guess the whole "wrapped" thing just blew that facade away.

felt quite depressed last night seeing spotify wrapped posts of artists i know — and seeing how hardly anyone listened to even my latest work in comparison... i wish i knew how to better self-promote myself i worked so hard on my latest release too after so much personal struggles and trying to climb back up... so i do feel like i let everyone involved down

I drove a Honda S660 α 6MT.

It is car-life changing. I never realized how fun a tiny car with measly acceleration can actually be.

Having driven this AND the Skyline R34 GTR, I'm now doubting myself if throwing all my scrilla towards the latter really is a good idea.

(THREAD!) Image Since I'm still under my monthly schedule of renting a car to do necessary errands (esp. with an added task of getting my flu shot in my usual clinic deep within Tokyo's skinny urban streets), i figured a skinny kei-car would be ideal.

But I also wanted to spice it up this time.

So I rented an R34 Skyline GT-R from Car Rental Tokyo for 24 hours this past weekend — mostly so i can finally figure out what the hype is all about & if all us Americans pedestal-propping The Paul Walker Ride really is warranted…

And ofc, if MY OWN hype towards it is warranted I learned of the rental thanks to @_klange, but originally only intended to try it out at a later date. However, I realized that I was already scheduled to go to the King of Prism Super Live show with my friends & figured “this is a great excuse to cruise down Makuhari with it!”.

CAR TWEET STORY TIME:
Remember the Honda Prelude? Millennials won't unless they're into AESTHETIC & imagine the world in lavender shades. Older Americans remember it as "#1 Best Handling Car Under $30k", only for racer thugs to steal its engine to jam into their Civics. OTOH people my age probably remember the 4th gen as the first car they bought in Gran Turismo 1's quest mode since all the strategy guides said it's the best used car to buy with your money when starting out.

For me, I was fortunate to have a 'lude as my first car IN REAL LIFE.
