Fake ads using Irish politicians have become more sophisticated.
A manipulated video of Mary Lou McDonald currently available on Facebook features her promoting some financial investment scheme. The video also includes fake RTÉ footage. Probably made using AI

The manipulated video is fairly convincing from a visual pov, just her mouth appears to have been altered. Content should be a giveaway tho, not least of all pronouncing R Tubridy's name "Too-bridy"
