Funny to see fans of a club whose whole structure- Operating in the UK, listed in the US and registered in Cayman Islands- gives them the ability to weave through regulations in all three jurisdictions about fairness in football. Have you even looked into how your club is run?
Also do the fans of hedge fund owned clubs know whose money has been invested in your clubs? Why would hedge funds who work on generating tangible returns through profits and/or stock market returns hold unlisted investments which barely show profits for over a decade?

Imagine you buy a shop on a high street. You use your intelligence and wealth to refurbish the place and stock up. In the middle of the refurbishment the other shops on the street bring in a rule that you can't spend your money and you'll have to keep the old shop and
Grow only by making profits from it. You protest but they enforce it anyway. In the meanwhile all the bigger shops go crazy in borrowing money and over stocking their shops and many of them run into trouble.

Conversely if City are found innocent (again) then the PL and the clubs that control it need to be investigated by an independent body for cartelisation and wrongful business practices. Fair deal?
I would have thought that this was a straightforward thing But the public perception is so well set that the nature of the outcome is immaterial. City should sign a long term deal with the lawyers because there are a lot of publications who should be sued for defamation.

Why blame the Glazers?
Imagine if you or I are given an opportunity to own a the New York Yankees without having to spend a single dollar, load that club with debt while we are allowed to take money out as salaries, fees, dividends etc
Who among us is going to pass up that opportunity? After all its not a sport that we are close to. Its a heaven sent opportunity.
So what I am peturbed about is that no one is asking how this could happen in Football? How could someone buy a club by loading it with debt?

There is scant evidence that tax cuts for the rich brings economic prosperity for all. But there are mountains of evidence that inflation adjusted pay hikes for workers and good working conditions creates wealth for everyone..including the rich.
The money you put in the pockets of the working class and the efforts you take to eradicate poverty ensures a robust domestic spending. Tax breaks and super profits just fill the coffers of private banks and also cause real estate inflation and hurt the economy.
