With THIS, there are now at least TWELVE current GOP members of Congress (8 in the House, 4 in the Senate), that are known to have taken part in either the planning and/or incitement of the events of 1/6/2021, which now includes the fake elector scheme.

Those members are:

1. Rep. Biggs (AZ)
2. Rep. Boebert (CO)
3. Rep. Brooks (AL)
4. Rep. Gosar (AZ)
5. Rep. Greene (GA)
6. Rep. Jordan (OH)
7. Rep. Lowdermilk (GA)
8. Rep. Perry (PA)
9. Sen. Cruz (TX)
10. Sen. Hawley (MO)
11. Sen. Johnson (WI)
12. Sen. Tuberville (AL)

Got an update coming on the breadth of the GOP lawmakers that are tied to Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas, mainly through campaign donations in the 2018 election cycle, and it's more than the 13 that I previously know about. A number of them lost in 2018, but others won their races. Here's the update I promised. I had to figure out the status of the others I had not yet known about who are tied to Fruman and Parnas, and apparently it didn't help them, because the vast majority LOST their 2018 midterm races, though a few won. All are/were in the House.

Remember that story @thedailybeast ran last year tying SC Rep. Joe Wilson, FL Sen. Rick Scott, FL Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former TX Rep. Pete Sessions to a Trump Super PAC tied to Russia, in regards to taking money from that Super PAC?

thedailybeast.com/watchdog-myste… I tweeted about that in my first thread regarding GOP lawmakers being tied to Russia and/or what was known to have been investigated (Sessions and Wilson were the 37th and 38th GOP lawmakers tied to this mess).

One interesting thing I saw on one of @MSNBC's shows last night was the report that, should @ewarren take the Democratic nomination next year, some usually Democratic Wall Street donors might back Trump in 2020.

cnbc.com/2019/09/26/wal… As surprising as that might seem, it may not be that surprising after all. Back in the 1930s, some of the Wall Street tycoons of that era, along with gun makers such as Remington Arms, planned to overthrow FDR.

A little while back, just after the @NASCAR playoff field was set, I made some predictions on who would advance round-by-round, all the way to the finale at @HomesteadMiami Speedway. Here's how the first portion of it panned out vs. what I predicted: #NASCARPlayoffs My prediction for those who would be OUT after the first round were the 6, 10, 14, and one of the two Hendrick Motorsports cars other than the #9 car. #NASCARPlayoffs

A little while back, I wondered if there were as many as six potential targets among those tied to the Trump Administration for impeachment inquiries by the House of Representatives.

But with what has broken over the past week concerning Ukraine, one must now wonder if that total may need to go up to include, are you ready, VP Mike Pence and particularly Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, given the State Department's involvement in this particular mess.

In various responses, I have mentioned that WY Sen. John Barrasso is not running in 2020 and thus is retiring from the Senate. I want to clarify that it's WY's other senator, Mike Enzi who's retiring, and NOT Barrasso. It doesn't change the math, but I do want to be accurate. Thus, it is Enzi who's among the three current GOP senators who are retiring after this Congress, joining KS Sen. Pat Roberts and TN Sen. Lamar Alexander, who are also stepping down by not running in 2020.

Interesting poll from @UnivisionNews that could spell doom for any GOP presidential hopes in not only the 2020 election, but any future presidential election. They have Trump trailing a generic Democrat by five points, 47-42, with 11% undecided. That is because Texas has been the one safe state for the GOP among the Big Four in the Electoral College, which consists of California, Florida, New York, and Texas. Those four states award a total of 151 electoral votes, 28% of all the votes in the Electoral College.

Earlier today, I got pointed to some information that suggests, while President Trump hijacked the GOP in 2016, Trump appears to have been the engine that gave the GOP what they've wanted since the 1930s. Domination through Wall Street and firearms makers. Seems that after FDR was first elected in 1932 and took office in 1933, the GOP attempted a coup through Wall Street companies and the military, which included Remington Arms, but Maj. Gen Smedley Butler blew the whistle on that.

If the news about Andrew Luck's retirement is true, it would be one of the three most shocking retirements in sports that I can remember, with the others being @BarrySanders in 1999 and @MagicJohnson in 1991. #AndrewLuck Of course, what led to Magic's first retirement was his revelation that he had HIV, which shook me and my generation to the core (remember what HIV and AIDS meant back in '91) and Sanders retired because he didn't want to break Walter Payton's career rushing record. #AndrewLuck

Just a terrible day. In what may be the worst mass shooting ever in Texas, it's been confirmed by @NBCNews that at least 59 people were shot, with at least 19 fatalities at a WalMart in El Paso by a domestic terrorist. #elpasotx To put that perspective, the 59 people known to have been shot (and there may be more) is more than were shot at Luby's in Killeen in 1991, Sutherland Springs in 2017, or the 1966 UT Tower Shooting. Just terrible. And yes, the thing who did that is a domestic terrorist. #elpasotx

Is it me, or does it seem that the rate of play at the #WSOPMainEvent, particularly as it relates to players being knocked out is going at a much faster rate than tournament organizers expected? For instance, the money bubble was expected to burst in L17, but it burst last night. And as they head to the dinner break on Day 4, heading to L19, they've already lost more than half the players that made the money (1286 made the money and they're already down to 550). Players are being eliminated at a faster rate than expected. #WSOPMainEvent

Interesting item from the @washingtonpost this evening regarding the NRA and more of it's corruptness. This piece reveals that one GOP congressman, AK Rep. Don Young, now appears to have been in involved in this. @fred_guttenberg @davidhogg111 @maddow

washingtonpost.com/investigations… If so, then we can now add him to the LONG list of GOP lawmakers tied to this mess, which includes the NRA. This would make him the 87th GOP lawmaker tied to a piece of this. (I'm still keeping track of this, even though my threads are done.) @maddow @Lawrence @hardball

Tomorrow, @McIlroyRory has a chance to do what only the late, great Arnold Palmer has ever done, which is to win all four major national Open Championships during his career by adding the @RBCCanadianOpen to his wins in the U.S., British (@TheOpen), and Australian Opens. Only Palmer has captured all four of those titles in his career. Neither Gene Sarazen, @jacknicklaus, or @garyplayer ever won the @RBCCanadianOpen, and neither Lee Trevino or Tiger Woods ever won the Australian Open (I don't think Trevino ever played in it).

@WomenWillDecide @docrocktex26 All I can say, based on information is that the NRA and Russia first got together as far back as 2009 or 2010, which is when the NRA, primarily G. Kline Preston and David Keene, and Russian oligarch Alexander Torshin got together. @WomenWillDecide @docrocktex26 The original reason for the partnership wasn't political, but rather to help the Russians sell their weapons, such as the AK-47, on the American market. But then in 2011, David Keene handwrote a letter to Alexander Torshin pledging help with his (Torshin's) endeavors.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of one of the wildest slugfests in @MLB history, as the @Phillies and @Cubs combined 11 HR and 50 hits, as the Phillies beat the Cubs 23-22 in 10 innings on May 17, 1979. Obviously, the wind was blowing out at Wrigley Field that day. In that epic contest, Dave Kingman hit 3 HR that went about 1400 feet combined, Mike Schmidt hit 2 HR, the first and last, which turned out to be the game winner, Bill Buckner had a game-high 7 RBI, 4 coming on a grand slam, & Larry Bowa had a game-high 5 hits (in EIGHT at-bats).

The way the @sixers/@Raptors Game 7 is going, it's pretty evident to me that there's no way the NBA is going to permit the 76ers to lose, if they can help it, because there's no way they want any part of either the Raptors or @Bucks getting to the Finals. #NBAPlayoffs Boy, was I wrong about that. Kawhi Leonard's series-winning shot at the buzzer was reminiscent of Ralph Sampson's shot at the Forum in 1986 that sent the @HoustonRockets to that year's NBA Finals, where they would eventually fall in 6 to the legendary '86 @Celtics. #NBAPlayoffs

Should anyone be surprised at what happened in tonight's #GSWvsHOU #NBAPlayoffs series-clincher? I believe coaching makes a bigger difference in a post-season situation, and that intangible is more important with evenly matched teams. On one side, you had @SteveKerr, a 5-time @NBA champion as a player who learned from two of the greatest NBA head coaches ever, Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich, for whom he won those five titles, and now he's going for #4 as a head coach himself.

.@KNX1070 Motorists heading from the Los Angeles to the San Diego area should try, at all costs, to get onto I-15, most likely via EB CA-91, because of that mess on SB I-5, which is jammed from Ave. Palizada in San Clemente all the way to just before Las Pulgas Rd. #SoCalTraffic But anyone using that detour route and wanting to get back to I-5 should use WB CA-76 to get to Oceanside during the afternoon commute, and not WB CA-78, because that jams from off I-15 halfway to Oceanside (as EB does approaching I-15). #SoCalTraffic

Just got finished with @ScottMStedman's Real News, and one takeaway is that there are other figures in the NRA/Russia nexus not previously reported on, or not reported on that much, including Alan Gottlieb and Dr. Lozansky (who has been reported on by @grantstern). Another facet of this I didn't really know about was that the effort to bring the NRA and Russia together was traced back to Alexander Torshin's effort to get a meeting with former AK Gov. and 2008 GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin back in 2009.
