Certain UEFA rules and regulations have led to some changes being made to the shirts.

In 2004/05, AC Milan had to add a black panel to make their print more visible.

Teams in UEFA competitions weren't allowed to wear the same sponsor, so when PSG and AC Milan played in 2000/01, the away team had to change.

Both were sponsored by Opel at the time, so the away team in each fixture switched to Corsa.
