1. A union 2. A pan-human rights group 3. A trans specific group

Going to take a while to process EHRC's wickedly transphobic - specifically transmisogynistic - new push, but two things are really clear: 1. We need to think about winning the long game, and conserving energy and resources to do it 2. We need to make surviving worthwhile
And thinking of that second point: some parts of society (powerful parts of society) are more openly hateful and punitive than they were - and also a great many people are more trans positive, or even neutral, than they were before the Equality Act came in...

Updates on @GoodLawProject and my role as Chair of the Trans Advisory Group: a thread 🧵
TL;DR I'll no longer be volunteering with GLP, due to their support of the group Right To Equality, and the ways in which they've communicated/not-communicated this support.
Summary of longer version: 1. This support goes against my responsibilities as Chair 2. The Nordic Model can never be trans inclusive 3. I believe material support is different from just 'working with' 4. I disagree with GLP's lack of clear communication on this issue...
