And I want to share why I wrote it. Image The book chronicles ten days in June 2015—a racist massacre in Charleston, heated debates about race, guns, and the Confederate flag, the fate of health care and marriage equality before the Supreme Court, and President Obama leading the country in a chorus of “Amazing Grace.”
