A pan-Asian mashup not an inherently bad thing, but there's a number of distinct contextual differences which mean it might not work like Wakanda worked. Thread 1/10 1. Black Americans (for hopefully obvious reasons) do not know the specific African cultures their ancestors originated from. Wakanda's pan-African culture is a mythologised answer to that need, which Asian Americans generally don't have in the same way. 2/11
