Ken Clark - when at university in 1961 invited Oswald Mosley the founder of the British Union of Fascists to speak to the Conservative Association. This caused Michael Howard and other Jewish students to resign from the Association. He was behind the purchaser provider split in the NHS which brought in changes that doubled the administration costs of running the service and has left the service with many of the problems experienced today.
