So a prestigious institution (or rather a prof. from one) asked me to apply to a grad program that had closed applications on Feb 1st. An unusual grad application🧵. 1/16 I was asked to give a short-notice talk on the research program I’ve been developing. It was a great deal of fun! Using a manuscript for a talk was challenging, but we made due and got through quite a bit of material in an hour. 2/16
