Info asymmetry is very real in crypto.

The most impacted parties were retail that had no idea this was happening. Below is from a friend hours before the FTX bailout announcement.

Met a bunch of avid NFT collectors IRL and we had a chat on using aggregators

1/ NFT aggregators are great for flippers that are price sensitive. Collectors think differently and prefer buying off the native marketplace.

Short 🧵 on thoughts and developments in this vertical 2/ Collectors are more price inelastic so don't find the need to go through an intermediary layer for a marginal difference in price

Most price savings also only apply for floor items compared to higher ticket purchases (rarer items – which they prefer)

We need to rethink airdrops next cycle... most trend towards normalised zero.

While historical growth rates do not define future projections, studying it gives us a good indication of future trajectories.
